This is an original AAGPBL (All American Girls Professional Baseball League) known popularly as "A League of Their Own". I have dated this card to 1947. It can be difficult to date these. I used the Lassie's roster to determine that one player listed played only in 1947 and then became a chaperone. Based on the rosters, the Lassies played the South Bend Blue Sox on this dayThis scorecard has been folded but the creases appear to have been stabilized by compression over the years. It was folded in half and there are also 2 corner creases. Some of it was filled out in pencil. I like that because it adds authenticity and a little bit of historical dirt to it. There is an almost imperceptible scrape on the cover. No stains or other ugly things. The Lassies entered the League in 1946, The team moved to Kalamazoo, MI mid season in 1950. Because finances were tight they continued to play in their Muskegon uniforms. The team played in South Bend until the league folded in 1954.Shipping via first class mail will be free. Don't worry, it will be protected and not just shoved in an envelope.
