"Baltimore, October 30, 1948 - Notre Dame's swift couriers and blockers blew Navy down today as the fighting Irish recorded their most crushing victory in the history of this intersectional rivalry dating back to 1427" (quoted from the New York Times on October 31, 1948) And we are offering the game menu from Miller Bros., "The Place to Eat" 119 W. Fayette Str.: Baltimore MD This game was played at Babe Ruth Stadium - Baltimore on October 30, 1948. The menu has at least one Notre Dame guard's signature: Marty Wendell..Marty played for Notre Dame 1944-1948 and went on to play for the Chicago Hornets in 1949. Other unknown signatures: Rodney Johnson, Clem Kadilhopper, Uncle Mickey from West Virginia; Brudder Frockmorton, Gracie and Al Zemijewski (just guessing on the spelling) This menu is 8.5" wide and 13" Long - when folded..it is in great condition, no rips or tears.
