Rex Whistler: His Life and His Drawings by Laurence Whistler, published by Art and Technics, London 1948 Superb volume on British artist, illustrator, typographer, theater designer and book designer Rex Whistler (1905-1944). Whistler died in 1944 at the Battle of Normandy; this book on his life and art was written by his brother. Beautifully designed and illustrated. Hardcover, 104 pages, 9 x 7". Very good condition, owner's bookplate on front end page, light dust jacket wear with light foxing on back.
