This is the 1949 Limited Editions Club edition of JOSEPH AND HIS BROTHERS, illustrated by Arthur Szyk, text from the King James translation of the Bible. This was originally issued as part of a slipcased three-volume set (along with Evergreen Tales and Aladdin and his Lamp; they are not included). 8 x 12 inches, 50 pages with gorgeous full color tipped-in Szyk illustrations on about half the pages. This is number 1674 of the 2500 books printed; signed by Szyk on the limitation page on the back. Some scratches on the back cover, but still Very Good condition, clean and unmarked. Sorry for the error. The book is signed by adapter Jean Hersholt (the same person known for the humanitarian award given out at the Oscars each year), not Arthur Szyk.
