This vintage mid-1950's pressed steel Tonka Allied Van Lines, Inc. semi-tractor trailer moving truck is in very good condition with no large areas of rust, but it does have some light spotty rust discoloration, a few tiny dings, and paint/finish wear, including scratches in the finish. As seen in photo #9, the most paint wear is where the trailer comes in contact with the back of the cab. The original orange paint is still bright and vivid with little to no fading. The Allied Van Line decals & stickers on the cab & trailer are intact with little wear (I see no "Tonka" decals on either piece.) The trailer also includes two round decals that picture a duck, and are marked: NO.1 SPECIALIST...LONG-DISTANCE MOVING. Someone at one time put a decal on the top of the cab (it's been partially removed), a decal on the back of the trailer above the doors (also partially removed), and star decals on the hood of the cab and on the front of the trailer. The solid hard rubber tires have no cracks or flat spots and they all spin freely. The metal axles have some light rust discoloration. The aluminum hub caps have no rust. The grill/headlight and bumper assemblies have just minor wear. The two plastic headlights are intact with no damage. The trailer measures 5 3/4" wide x 8 1/2" tall x 16 1/4" long. The cab is 5 1/2" wide x 11 1/2" long x 5 1/2 read more
