Up for your consideration we have a native indian totem pole. Great looking piece and lots of detail. Carved of red cedar, it stands 25" tall. Marked: Carved by Louie Jones - 1958 - Pachina Indian Band - Port Renfrew - Vancouver Island - B.C. As far as I can discern, one of the the bands from that area is the " Pacheedaht or Pacheenah" which means "People of the Sea foam or Sea foam". Unable to find any info on Louie Jones. However, for more information on this band please go : /pacheedaht1.htm The only information I have on it is from the lady I purchased it from. She told me her dad worked for Indian Affairs and that he had it for years. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Buyer to pay for shipping/insurance.
