Thanks for looking!!! Mid States Auto Sales is presenting in a NO RESERVE AUCTION this very cool and rare VINTAGE tin battery operated Trademark M Japan Electromobile Buick from the early 1950's. It measures 8.25" long, and looks like a 1950-51. Who knows with the Japanese toy makers from this era-one thing is for sure, the portholes on the side kind of give it away whatever year its supposed to be. This is an early toy as you can tell by the old style screw in pancake light bulbs they used for head lights. The metal ball at the front of the hood can be turned to turn the front wheels. I think there is supposed to be a switch on both sides at the top of the front doors, but it looks like the drivers side one has been broken off. There is some slight surface corrosion here and there on the exterior, but its nothing major or deep. A good bead blasting and repainting would make it look new, but it displays well as is. The battery box is clean and it has all its original hubcaps. We have not tested it and its sold as is. The pictures tell the story. Its an excellent and hard to find addition to any collection!!!
