This sale is for an original The Milepost "guide to the land of the northern lights book, covering Alaska, the Yukon, and Northern British Columbia. This was published in 1951. It details where to sleep, eat, or just pull off the road at the many mile posts described within. The book measures 5 and 3/8" by 8 and 1/4". The book is complete and shows light wear only. There are some light creases on the covers and some discoloration on the back cover. There is some light wear/damage near the bindingat the top and bottom of the book. There is a pull out map . That is in good condition with a few creases near the folds. The binding is strong although the staples have rusted some over time. The pages are all in good to very good condition, there is a very small tear less than 1/4 inch at the top of the first 12, and last 19 pages of the book. The book is 96 pages total. The cover has nice vibrant coloring for its age. Please check out all of the pictures as they are part of the item description.
