This is an original 1952 Gilbert Hall of Science American Flyer Railroad Set. The set includes:[1] 325 Smoking Engine and Reading Line Tender (See Photo, Cosmetic damage to engine) [1] 937 Katy Box Car[1] 925 Tank Car[1] 930 Caboose [1] 928 Log Car[1] 936 Die-cast Metal Depressed Center Car [1] 7210 Spot Light Car[1] 706 Remote Control Uncoupler[?] 693 Track Locks[12] 702 Curved Track[10] 700 Straight Track (long Track)[3] 700 Straight Track (Short Track)[1] 15B 75-watt Transformer (See Photo, Power cord Frayed and cracked)[2] Switch Tracks[1] Owners ManualAdditional Items - [1] 1961, 21165 Unpainted black plastic loco Engine and Erie Lines Tender, no smoke or choo-choo sound.[1] Train Master Type TW power control.This set was unpacked in early 2000. It was discovered that it is a complete set and most of the set is still in its original boxes. Most of the boxes glue no longer keeps the box sealed and some of the boxes are missing the box tabs to keep them closed on both ends. The main box for the set is missing. As Mentioned above the Original Loco and Tender have some cosmetic damage. Additionally the the original power cable for the transformer is brittle, cracked and frayed. I purchased a replacement controller and a 1961 Engine and tender to put the set together and run it. This auction includes the additional items so you can read more
