True NO RESERVE auction on this pure GEM for Mickey Mantle Collectors. Minor League baseball, signed on October 19, 1952 by Mickey Mantle, featuring his rookie era style of signature. Also features fellow Hall of Famers Casey Stengel and Warren Spahn. On October 19, 1952, Warren Spahn's All Stars faced off against Allie Reynolds All Stars at Texas League Park in Oklahoma, for a charity game made of of Oklahoma baseball players. The game was attended by 9789 fans, and this may be one of the only balls out there from this unique event. Exceptional to be able to pinpoint the signing of a ball to an specific day and event. Full letter of authenticity by JSA. Ball itself is an Official Texas League J. Alvin Gardner Model Baseball, which still displays very strong stampings and features a very light and even layer of vintage shellac.
