1953 The Impatient Horse First Edition Early Ladybird with Dustjacket Printed on glossy paper, with patterned end papers . With gorgeous period illustrations by Berkeley, full of optimisim and energy, the feeling of exhilation as Mary and John as Horace the horse makes his escape from the dull life of pulling a milkcart. This is in extremely good condition,The interior is devoid of inscriptions, marks, tears or folds and all pages are tight within binding. The illustrations are still vibrant and shiny on the glossy paper. The dustjacket is clipped, but clean just very lightly rubbed at top and base of spine but no nicks or tears. Postage is by Royal Mail Guaranteed Delivery by 1pm with compensation for loss or damage to £500
