Another big Japanese tin car by Ichiko and Masudaya along with a very nice reproduction box and a tin driver. This 1953 fat boy Lincoln measures approximately 14" long (35.6 cm) by 4.5" tall (11.4 cm) and 7" wide (17.8 cm). Some sellers refer to this car as a 1953 Pontiac, but Ichiko and Masudaya called it a Super Lincoln, so that is what I'm going to stick with. This gorgeous spring blue car was customized by the previous owner to his specific taste. That includes the bright blue paint, repainted whitewall tires and refinishing of the tin trim. It makes a very good impression setting on the shelf. There are a few minor dimples scattered and a couple of touchups in the blue paint. They are really hard to see but one is visible on the driver's side rear fender. The colorful lithographed tin interior is very nice and looks great with the custom blue paint and of course the tuxedo-clad driver just adds to the charm. The amber headlamps add to the overall look. The car is complete with tin trim, hubcaps, and rubber tires. The friction and the siren sound work, as they should and the baseplate has been repainted. The plastic taillights and headlights are original. The celluloid windows have been replaced and look very nice. The car along with the outstanding reproduction box makes a terrific display.14-Day return privilege. Buyer pays read more
