This is a "Super Nice" 1954 Zippo pocket lighter. The front shows an engraving of a Military Patch or Crest. I believe it is US Army because in the ribbon at the bottom of the shield are the words Strive - Obey - Endure. The shield shows the symbols of a Heraldic Lion, Iron Cross, and Castle. May be a European Theatre patch. This Zippo comes in the original "Candy Strip" (red/white) box. This box shows some ageing and is still very functional. Has a few weak corners but are not totally split. The case and insert have the Zippo 2517191 patent. The case has the full 2517191 stamp with the large PAT. PEND. This Zippo is very clean and shows very little use. The case does not have any major scratches, dents, or dings. Shows only light handling. Hinge is tight. The insert has a strong cam spring, stiff full wick, and the flint tube is open and has no obstructions. With flint and fluid, this Zippo would be operable. I feel I have taken some pretty good pictures so you will be able to see exactly what you are bidding on. I accept PayPal, money orders, and cashier checks from US Buyers. I will also accept personal checks if feedback is great, but please email me before bidding. I only accept PayPal as the method of payment from International Buyers. I will ship next business day after payment is received. Sometimes I am able to ship same
