I found these pretty underthings along with the blue Cissy dress and hat currently for sale in my other auctions. This is a half slip and panties, and they came with a gorgeous Cissy doll and some other clothing, from the estate of the original owner. Both pieces are in very nice condition. The panties are taffeta with a center back seam, elastic waist and delicate lace trimming the legs. The slip is very full and all lace with an elastic waist. The lace has a distinctive pattern that I am sure seasoned Cissy collectors will recognize; I have seen this exact same slip with several mid 1950s Cissy outfits, including 2130 and 2141. The only flaw I see is that both pieces are slightly yellowed from age. Might be the kind of thing that a soak in OxyClean takes right out, but I will let the buyer make that decision. The elastic in both pieces is still quite good, not stretched out at all! I have the doll and tried these on her; they fit Cissy perfectly. Clean and from a nonsmoking estate. If you are bidding on my other Cissy clothing auctions, please don't pay for any of them until all auctions have ended, and I have a chance to combine your items into one package.
