This is an excellent 1960's F-105 Thunderchief desk model made by Precise Models. It is in great condition with virtually no wear of any kind. The aircraft itself measures about 7" long and is made of plastic. The base is aluminum. The F-105 Thunderchief was made by Republic Aviation from 1955-1973 and was considered the workhorse of Vietnam. It was known as a very tough aircraft that could take a lot of battle damage and still return home. The aircraft cruised at 778 mph with a top speed of 1,390 mph. This is an excellent desk model and a great piece of military history. Be sure to check my other models. I also have a Beechcraft XKD2B-1 (AQM-37) drone model listed.
