This is a scarf from the peace movement of the 1960s. It is black and white, about 27 inches square with a 1 3/4 inch border on all four sides. The scarf has been cleaned and is in very good condition. T are no rips, tears or weak spots. It has been stored in a dresser drawer all these years. It came into our household sometime around 1970. Now, no one knows just who brought it, but our kids had friends over and all I remember is that one day it was It is a silky material, but since t is no label, I can't say if its silk or rayon or what. It does have a fine rolled edge as good scarves do.
