1960s VW Volkswagon Bus Metal Lunchbox with ThermosI am cleaning out my father's attic. He saved and collected a lot of items from his childhood and over many years. I am selling this Vintage VW Bus Lunch Box w/ Thermos, which is one of those items and will do the best I can to describe it and its condition but I make no assertions as to its authenticity. Please do not bid if you do not intend to go through with the sale. My father took very good care of his collection and this lunchbox has been stored in a temperature-controlled environment since he purchased it. Good luck bidding! This auction is offered at NO RESERVE and is intended to sell. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to honestly answer.I do not know much about vintage lunchboxes like this one, but from what I could tell when I was taking the pictures, this lunchbox is in great condition. The box appears to have never been used and only has a couple of minor scratches on the exterior. From the research that I have done, I do not believe that the thermos that is included is the original one that came with the lunchbox, however, it looks good and fits perfectly. This lunchbox is modeled after the Type 2 VW Split window van and from my research, it was produced from 1950 to 1967. Lunchboxes such as this one are very rare, especially in this condition,
