1963 Modernist FINLAND SPECTROLITE Sterling BROOCH KORU Description: This is a 1963 Scandinavian modernist sterling silver brooch with Finnish Labradorite blue Spectrolite cabachons. The brooch is 1 3/4" diameter and 1/2" tall with hallmarks on the side. HN for Helga Narsakka, kk for Kaunis Koru, crown mark, 916H, city hallmark that is very small, Kasityo for handmade and k7 for 1963. the 4 spectrolite cabochons are 5/16" each. Spectrolite is a semi-recious gem stone that belongs to feldspars. It is found only in SE Finland and was discovered during WWII. They just glow blue in different lighting and look almost black at other times. This vintage estate piece is in beautiful condition with a little tarnish left for the new owner.
