1964 GEORGE SOSNAK "DETROIT TIGERS" team-signed HAND PAINTED BASEBALL featuring HANK AGUIRRE This item is being sold by Bryan Dec from BDECSPORTS, and we have been in business since 1989 & this is our 15th year on eBay. This Official American League (Joe Cronin President) baseball has been meticulously hand painted by the famous baseball artist, George Sosnak, with the ball prominently featuring Detroit's pitcher, Hank Aguirre, in addition to the 1964 Tigers theme, and the ball is signed by Sosnak. The two unpainted panels have several autographs of the 1964 Tigers, including Al Kaline, but the signatures are light & faded. The important painted portion done by Sosnak has great eye-appeal, having just some minor scattered surface wear, and since George's passing in 1992, both the demand & prices for his painted baseballs have shot through the roof.
