According to official U.S Mint records,� 316,076 1964-D Peace Silver Dollars were struck however, according to the U.S.� Treasury� every 1964-D Silver Peace Dollar that was struck was in fact destroyed.************NOTE: Defacing of United States coins are in fact legal so long as it isn't for fraudulent purposes.By purchasing this coin you agree agrees to provide full disclosure of their origin if you decide to sell the piece.
