A varnished Official National League Warren Giles baseball signed by members of the 1967 St. Louis Cardinals World Championship team. The Cardinal team prevailed over the Boston Red Sox in what was one of the classic World Series of all-time. The ball is signed by thirteen members of the Cardinals team, including Roger Maris, HOF Bob Gibson (1967 World Series MVP), HOF Steve Carlton, HOF Orlando Cepeda (who was also national League MVP in 1967), Dick Hughes, Larry Jaster, Dick Sisler (Deceased), Bob Milliken (Deceased), Al Jackson, Dave Ricketts, Phil Gagliano, Joe Hoerner (Deceased), and Johnny (John) Romano. The signatures have been protected (fortunately or unfortunately depending upon your personal tastes) by a previous owner. The autographs range from 2 through a 6-7, but all of the listed signatures are visible. Championship baseballs from the 1960s are becoming scarce and are increasing in value with each passing year, especially with more stars from this era passing every year. This baseball has been authenticated by the best in the business, James Spence Authentication (JSA), and comes with a full Letter of Authentication, which identifies the notable and HOF signatures.
