Handsome large-format portfolio from an important 1969 exhibit ofmid-century American art pottery, including work byHoran, Karnes, Lakofsky, Mackenzie, McIntosh, Natzler, Scheier, Voulkos, and others Ceramic Art in America. Professional Publications, Columbus, Ohio/Scripps College, Claremont, California, 1969. Thirty-two loose pictorial sheets printed on cardstock, plus folding introductory sheet, housed in an embossed cardboard folder measuring approx. 14.25 x 11 in. A bit of mild wear to folder, otherwise clean, fine, and complete. A particularly handsome visual survey issued in conjunction with an important exhibition of pottery at Scripps College. From the editor's introductory remarks: "These thirty-two examples of Ceramic Art in America must, as much as possible, speak for themselves.
