1970 COINAGE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN & NORTHERN IRELAND PROOF SET On 15th February 1971 the United Kingdom adopted the decimal coinage system. This proof set contains some of the last examples of the old coinage.
