"Five...Four...Three...Two...One...GO!" Currently available is this Thunderbird 2 made by Dinky Toys. Produced by Gerry Anderson, Thunderbirds a Sci-Fi action adventure "Puppetoon" aired from 1965-66 set in the future of the 2060's. Chronicling the adventures of the Tracy family's organization, International Rescue (IR) led by former astronaut turned multi-millionaire, philanthropist, Jeff Tracy, IR was a super secret organization dedicated to saving human lives when more conventional means were unsuccessful. The Thunderbird 2 is a supersonic equipment transporter with detachable pod for carrying vital vehicles and supplies piloted by son, Virgil Tracy. This Thunderbird 2 is made of blue die cast metal and plastic with retracting landing gear and detachable equipment pod with opening door. This Thunderbird 2 is in good played with condition showing some wear and corrosion from age.
