This is a two binder set! This a very RARE and ORIGINAL 1970 Oldsmobile Colors and Fabrics Album/Binder and a 1970 Oldsmobile Exterior Colors and Stripes, Convertible Top Fabrics and Vinyl Rooftop Coverings Album/Binder . These are NOT a reproduction or reprint! This 2 book set is a unique set for the Oldsmobile collector or car enthusiast as it shows very well and is an excellent resource for a restoration or survivor car validation. These are an ACTUAL DEALER ALBUM SET that was used at Lee Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Cannon Falls, Minnesota . Because this book was used in a dealership if has some notes and annotations from the dealership sales staff referring to features and recommended options and corrections as the 1970 year went along.The large Binder Album measures 12.5 x 11.5 wide and 2.5 inches deep when closed. When open the binder measures 27.5 x 11.5 inches.The large binder contains 39 pages. The large binder has a black vinyl back cover and spine and a goldish colored front cover with an embossed Oldsmobile logo and the embossed words "1970 Oldsmobile" and has a gloss clear plastic vinyl molded cover. The binder front, spine and back cover are in very good condition with no rips or tears and show little wear. The large book is bound with a 3 ring binder mechanism in good condition.The smaller binder measures 8 x 8 inches when closed and opens to 16.5 x 8 inches and is also a black vinyl. The smaller removable binder has 25 paint swatches, 6 vinyl rooftop cover swatches, 4 standard convertible top fabrics and 5 paint stripe examples. The smaller binder has a double wire bound binder with an acetate overlay to protect the paint swatches. The cover, spine and back is black vinyl in VERY GOOD condition. The front cover of the smaller binder is printed in gold letters saying "1970 Oldsmobile, Exterior Colors and Stripes, Convertible Top Fabrics, Vinyl Rooftop Coverings" and has the Oldsmobile logo. For the large binder, it is separated into 12 sections. The primary flaws would be some minor scuffing and dirt on some pages from age and use at the dealership. The tabs edge laminate is starting to yellowing just a bit, but still very readable. All swatches are still attached and in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition, perfect for validating a survivor or for a restoration project.
