OH MY GOSH! THESE ARE FABULOUS A PAIR OF VINTAGE DRESS FORMS OR MANNEQUINS WITH CAGE SKIRTS, AND A CAST IRON BASE WITH WHEELS AND A PEDAL BY THE WOLF FORM COMPANY. Wow! What a vintage treat! This listing includes: · one 1970 Standard Collapsible Wolf Dress Form Size 10 · one 1980 Bridal Collapsible Wolf Dress Form Size 10 · one Wolf Adjustable Height Cast Iron Base with Wheels and Pedal Wolf dress forms are the form used extensively by designers, manufacturers, and fashion schools throughout the world. The 1970 model arrived with the base. This is a womans figure with a nice tan muslin covering. It has a nice metal cage skirt. The form says, WOLF MODEL FORM, INC. N.Y.C., COLLAPSIBLE, MODEL 1970 and 10 is marked on the front of the neck and front bottom center. There are some tears and stains on the form, as I show. The band around the waist is missing about an inch in the back, as I show. The shoulders collapse smoothly and the arm plates can accept arm attachments. Arms are not included. This form seems to match Wolf Form's description of a Sportswear and Streetwear Dress Form. This form has character! Great in any shabby chic, Victorian, Antique, romantic cottage or French country home. ~ Measurements are about 35.5" bust, 26" waist, and 37" hips. The 1980 model arrived on her own and she probably has some stories to tell! There are details which set this dress form apart from the other. This form seems to match Wolf Form's description of a Strapless, Bridal & Cocktail Dress Form as it has a more defined bust, shaped buttocks and attached shoulder caps. It is specially designed for fitting bridal, cocktail, and strapless garments. This form says, WOLF FORM CO., N.Y.C., S.R.M. SMALL, COLLAPSIBLE, MODEL 1980 and 10 marked on either side of the neck and front bottom center. Someone got crafty on this form as shown in the pictures; there is embroidery stitching along the neck and randomly over the body, places where embroidery was removed, and random pen markings. There is a hole in the form itself behind the thread covering the "LAPS" in the word COLLAPSIBLE. The shoulders do collapse however you need to be gentle with the left shoulder as it seems to need a little finessing to find it's way in; there was probably water damage to the form based on the markings in the outer muslin. There is a dent in the cage skirt as shown in the pictures. This form is quite unique! ~ Measurements are about 35" bust, 26" waist, and 36.5" hips. The cast iron base came with the 1970 model. There is a nice metal egg-shaped finial at the top. The stand has a metal pedal that adjusts the height up and down. It smoothly raises to about 8 feet tall and is solid and not wobbly at that height! It also has wheels! The base says, WOLF MODEL, FORM CO. INC., PAT. 1772240, NEW YORK . N.Y. There is rust on the shaft, the spring, and a little on the base. Since we disassembled it during a move, I discovered that the 1980 Bridal Dress Form could also be used on this base. Simply unscrew the egg cap, lift dress form up and off, put other form on, and replace egg cap. Voil� ! A cast iron base costs about $300 whether you purchase from the East or West coast. What a savings! ~ Measurements are about 62" minimum to about 96" tall when a form is on the base.
