Up for bids are 2 trucks, both in mint condition: a 1972 and 1974 Hess Tanker Truck pair, only out of the boxes for pictures. Both trucks have working head and tail lights operated by a switch underneath. With the 1974 truck, the switch position that works best is about in the middle between on and off. You can see the lights on in the pictures on this listing. The difference between these two model years is slight; the 1972 truck's catwalk stops 1/8" from the rear of the truck, while the 1974 truck's catwalk stops flush with the rear of the truck. Because of the slight difference between these two models, it's often best to buy them in pairs. Virtually everything is mint with these trucks; the boxes have some minor staining which I've included pictures of, and the 1972 box's previous owner wrote the year of the truck on it. This is a no reserve auction so these trucks are going to sell; please don't let this pair slip through your fingers if you need one or both years; just buying one year is a hassle because t is a good chance you'll be sent the wrong truck.
