Extremely Rare: 1,366 MintageThis is the 1979 FM 5 Kina (U variety) made by the Franklin Mint for the nation of Papua New Guinea. It's a special uncirculated coin that is Deep Prooflike. This beauty has tropical sunset colors on the obverse and light gold toning on the reverse.Finding this coin in it's highest recorded grade is an incredible find. The toning is just the cherry on top.As of 10/08 it's the only graded 5 Kina DPL on the market, not a lot of these around so if you have one treasure it.
