1984 Big Ten Football Sports Soda 10 Can Collection This is a vintage, 1984 Big Ten College NCAA football sports soda 10 can collection from Sports Beverage Co in Champaign, IL. This 30 year old aluminum can collection features the following colleges with their football schedule printed on the back: University of Iowa Hawkeyes - Cola, Michigan State University (MSU) Spartans - Lemon-Lime, Minnesota Golden Gophers - Root Beer, Purdue University Boilermakers - Cola, Indiana University (IU) Hoosiers, University of Wisconsin Badgers - Cola, Ohio State University Buckeyes - Cola, University of Michigan Wolverines - Cola, Northwestern University Wildcats - Cola, University of Illinois Fighting Illini - Orange Soda. This 10 can collection comes in the original cardboard storage box, but is missing the top display flap . The box has discoloration from age. It measures 14 1/2" L x 10 1/2" W x 3" H. Please note conditions as follows: All the cans are empty. The Hawkeye can is dented front and the Wolverine U of M has a smaller dent in the back. The tabs are missing from the Gopher, Wolverine and Buckeye cans. I purchased this at a garage sale from a woman who said her husband had it in the garage for years and didn't do anything with it, so she was going to get rid of it.
