This extremely rare coin, NGC graded 97k of them and found 147 MS70 mint state perfection of all the coins they graded. A 1990 Silver Eagle sold at auction recently for $17,200.00. This is exceptionally high, most auction records I could find this coin sold for on average $5850.00. NGC lists this coins numismatic value at $5850.00. NGC is one of the, if not the most trusted numismatic grading company in the world. I need the money now, don't have a membership to an auction house, but if you have 3-4 months you can set this coin up with an auction house focusing on coins and paper currency with value beyond it's intrinsic value and perhaps find the man looking for this particularly rare coin to complete his silver eagle collection of MS70's. Who knows, at minimum the average auction is bringing $5850.00 for this piece with this grade. Research it, then come buy it. Happy silver hunting.
