This listing is for a PCGS certified 1999 MS69 $5 Gold Eagle. It is certified to have been removed from a vault in the pile of debris from the World Trade Center attacks on September 11th 2001. Most of these coins received grades of "Gem Uncirculated". This was one of the rarer high grade ones that was able to be graded a whopping MS69! Seeing the footage on TV it is very impressive anything could have survived in this kind of condition!
