19c Antique Victorian Walnut Writing Slope Dimensions; 14" wide x 9" deep x 5.5" tall approx A Good quality writing slope with burr walnut top and inlaid brass edges /cartouche and key escutcheon , The box is lockable with key and opens revealing large leather covered writing surface, plenty of storage space for paperwork etc... under the slope, also 2 small 'secret' drawers hidden behind cover panel (photo7), above these are 2 compartments for inkwells ,stamp slope and dished pen tray.The box is in good condition with minor age wear, No missing veneer ,the base green baize covering.
