Antique late 19c Victorian Walnut Writing Slope Box with inlayed brass corners,cartouche and escutcheon,good brass hinges and working lock with key, the interior has sloped writing surface with leather covering which forms 2 opening slopes/falls each with storage space under(photo7), there is a dished pen tray compartment ,stamp slope and space for an inkwell (inkwell not included), There are 2 secret/hidden small drawers behind a cover panel (see photo 10), DIMENSIONS of box 12" wide x 9"deep x 6" tall approx, The box is in good condition commensurate with age.No missing veneer.
