This is an 19th C. Antique Turned Treen Woodenware Peaseware Pounce Pot Sander. This is a very unique treen woodenware sander or pounce pot with a rounded top. This has an attractive turned wood body in a beautiful dark hardwood. It has a rounded top with holes in it to shake sand over the wet ink to help it to dry. I am not 100 % sure if this is a sander, as I have never seen one quite like this one before. I offer this turned treen wooden pounce pot sander here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The treen sander is 5 3/16" H. and 3 7/16" Dia. at the top and 3 5/16" Dia. at the base. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some crazing to the varnished surface and some wear and lines in the wood.
