Up for auction is a great 19th centry sugar bucket or refered to as a firkin. These were used in the 19th centry for storage. This is a beautiful bucket with great patina. The staves are held together with copper nails and two bands at bottom. The lid has a small chip on stave but other than that a great firkin. On the handle the is also some writing about a size (see pics).These are getting harder to find. Thanks for looking!!!!
