ALSO any bid from a person(s) with 2 NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS within the LAST 12 MONTHS will NOT be accepted. -----------------------For sale are what I was told when I purchased them these two (2) ivory NETSUKE carvings. I know nothing of these types of figures but I trust the person I got these from to be honest and sincere and I believe these are ivory. I would never intentionally mislead or misrepresent any item (I wouldn't like it if done to me) and would gladly refund all monies to buyer if it could be proved to me from a reliable authority that these 2 netsuke items pictured were not ivory. They appear to be quite old. The first one (shown in gallery photo) looks like some type of perplexed demon that is scratching his head while gazing at a giant mask in his lap. It measures approximately: 1 1/4" at widest point of 'base' (w 2 holes are drilled to allow for a string?) and 1 1/8" tall. The second one pictured measures approximatelty: 2" tall by one inch wide. It appears as though the 'hair" roll on the left ear side of his head is broken off- (see close up detail). It also has holes drilled in it to apparently accomodate a 'string'.
