HELLO and thanks for looking at our auction!!! Today we have these Two old heavy Crock Bowls that we found at an Estate Sale. T is some marks or letters on the bottom of both bowls. Thanks to a Great Fellow Ebayer out t We know the marks on the bottom are: 5 IN (which means 5 Inches) and USA. I have included a picture of the bottom on the brown one. Both Bowls are marked with the same letters or numbers. They are both in the thick Crock Pottery type material. They are stackable as they have the band on top that sticks out. These both are small bowls and look like the small version of the Old Crock Pottery mixing bowls. These bowls measure 3" tall, 5" across the top opening and 15 3/4" around the top rim. They are both kinda crude made with lots of factory flaws. The Brown Bowl has more flaws than the Green one with some excess material in places and one place on the inside rim of the brown one w the glaze is missing. They are both stained on the top and bottom rim w t is no glaze. These Highly Collectable Old Crock Bowls came from an Estate Sale so we don't have any idea of their age but they are still very shiny and usable. I find no Cracks or Chips but t is the one place on the inside rim of the brown one w the glaze is missing.
