1/24 scale model of 1961 GP wining Ferrari 156 Sharknose built from metal Revival kit. great quality model, piano wire wheels, factory prepainted metal body. The 1961 Ferrari 156 F1 had a unique front design that led people to give it the nickname Sharknose. Technically and visually, the 156 F1 was a smashing success. The 1961 Formula 1 season came up with a completely new rule, racing teams would need to switch their engines from 2.5 to 1.5 liters. Having developed a V6 mid-mounted engine with a 120 degrees cylinder angle and a maximum output of 190 hp, Ferrari found itself in a very good position. On the track Phil Hill became the first American Formula 1 World Champion. fantastic looking model. quality item, great paint, includes full engine and suspension. you are bidding on a built model. it will be carefully packed to avoid possible damage.
