For sale is a splendid lot of photographs relating to the grand opening of the Aero Saarinen-designed Dulles Airport in Virginia in November 1962. � The airport was officially opened by then-President, John F. Kennedy, who is featured in many of these photographs. Each of these is an official internal Federal Aviation Agency photograph, and are each date and FAA stamped on the back. While one or two of these may have made it to publication in the press, I have not been able to find reference to the majority of them, and I believe them to be quite scarce. Each photograph measures 8 x 10 inches and is in very good condition, the only issue being that some have curled up a bit around the edges. Nice lot!
