The coin was produced in conjunction with the simultaneous minting and issuance of commemorative coins on the behalf of the Republic of Iceland in commemoration of the millennium of the discovery of the New World by Leif Ericson. The coin is protected by a clear acrylic capsule that sits in a velveteen lined presentation box. The coin is complete with its COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and the outer sleeve . Minted at the Philadelphia Mint Condition is Brilliant Uncirculated Weight is 26.730 grams Diameter is 1.500 inches Composition is 90% silver and 10% Alloy Final Mintage: 28,150 The box and coin are in pristine condition.
