This is the COMPLETE card set for Strat-o-matic representing the 2001 Baseball Season in USED but VERY GOOD condition. The cards including extra players, multi-team players, the rosters sheet and ballpark & weather effects. The cards may have some slight toning around the edges but none are damaged or have rubber band marks. The only cards with any markings are the 2 "teamless" player cards where the last team of record has been neatly written in ink. They've been stored away for many years in a plastic tub on a closet shelf. All in all, complete, in good condition and definitely all playable.2001 was the year the New York Yankees and the underdog Arizona Diamondbacks would square off in the World Series with Arizona winning it all in Game 7 dramatic fashion. This year also featured the Seattle Mariners dominating in the regular season running up an impressive record 0f 116-46 only to lose in the playoffs to the Yankees. 2001 would see some record breaking performances including Barry Bonds' 73 homeruns while walking 177 times. Larry Walker and Ichiro would both bat .350 to lead their leagues.
