Today I offer these 2 beautiful, 2003 United States Mint 2003 National Wildlife Refuge System Centennial Silver Medal. One is a Canvasback Duck, the other an Elk. The U.S. Mint partnered with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to produce the 4 medal series including the canvasback duck, the elk, the bald eagle, and the salmon. These silver medals have the same silver content as a silver dollar. A portion of the proceeds of the original sale of this item was authorized to benefit the National Wildlife Refuge System and its conservation effort. Thank you for looking! !!
