They entered service between 1922 and 1925, and the last unit was withdrawn in 1968. The coin was issued under ther authority of the Government of the Cook Islands by the Perth Mint. It comes with a beautiful Red Presentation Case and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (Number 2138).The obverse features the likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination of 1 Dollar. Also portraid are the words COOK ISLANDS.The reverse features a 1923 Garford fire engine portrayed inside a stylised fire hose and the words FIRE ENGINES OF THE WORLD, with a mintage limited to just 5,000 coins.Stock Images Payment is due within 3 days of auction end.
