2007 Mongolia 500 Togrog Wolverine Gulo Gulo 1oz Silver Wildlife Protection 2007 Mongolia Gulo Gulo 500 Togrik silver coin with Swarovski elements (crystal eyes). This was the first issue in Mongolia's now renown Wildlife Protection series. The high relief reverse of the coin shows an unbelievable full-face depiction of the fearsome wolverine, known as the Gulo Gulo in Northern Asia.Highly collectible, very popular, and extraordinarily intriguing coin. This was the winner of both the Coin of the Year Award and the Best Silver Coin of the Year Award, COTY, 2009. Very, very influential on subsequent commemorative coin design.Single year issue, mintage only 2,500. One ounce. .999 fine silver. 38.61 mm. Antique finish. The coin is in its original capsule with attached Certificate of Authenticity (photos attached).
