You are bidding on a roll of 2009 Canadian Silver Maple Coins, Vancouver Olympics issue with the native Thunderbird totem design on the reverse in place of the usual maple leaf. There are (25) 1 oz. coins in each roll, for a total of 25 oz. These commemorative coins are much rarer than the regular issue Silver Maples, with a mintage of only 569,048 coins. For comparison, the regular issue 2009 Silver Maple has a mintage of over 9.7 million. Due to their rarity, 2009 Canadian Silver Olympic Maples have lots of collector value and commands significant premiums over their spot value. I have multiple rolls of 2009 and 2010 Olympic Silver Maple coins up for auction and will combine shipping.
