This auction is for the Continental United States ONLY !!! ***PayPal ONLY for this auction*** Koin-Krazy (Collectible coins) and more 1 ROLL OF LINCOLN CENTS FROM LINCOLN CITY, INDIANA’S 1st DAY OF ISSUE CEREMONY WITH LINCOLN STAMPS THEN CANCELLED THE OLDEST STAMP IS FROM 1948 DIFFERENT "VINTAGE" STAMPS WERE USED A very collectable item to add to your collection ....Coins & Stamps! Up for your consideration is 1 roll of Lincoln Cents from the First Day of Issue Ceremony held in Lincoln City, Indiana on 14 May, 2009! After affixing the commemorative 42¢ Lincoln stamp, an unused, "old" Lincoln stamp was applied to raise the postage to above the current new rate of 44¢. After having the necessary postage affixed, the stamps were then cancelled with the RED stamp, the one most collectors preferred, designating this roll as being obtained at the First Day of Issue Ceremony on 14 May, 2009! The pictures are of some of the rolls available with different vintage stamps used on my rolls...One "Legal" postage stamp shown is of my own design commemorating this historic day. Your bid is for 1 roll chosen randomly. After winning the auction, if you see a particular set of stamps used on the rolls and want that combination, please ask!...However...understand that I have a limited amount of rolls and vintage stamps and when they are gone.... they’re gone!!! The rolls were sold-out and the date on the cancellation stamp was changed at the close of business on the 14th of May! I was t at the LINCOLN AMPHITHEATRE, in the Lincoln State Park, located in Lincoln City, Indiana during the First Day of Issue Ceremony with my family. The day started out wet and rainy but we stuck-it-out and it eventually turned out to be a nice day! Mixed signals were sent out about the quantity of rolls one might be able to obtain. At one time, were told...as we stood in line for over three hours...that the maximum one could obtain was just four rolls each! After getting to the table, we were informed that we could purchase 6 rolls at a time and return to the line as many times as supplies last! For the FIRST 10 buyers at this Fixed-Price auction, I will send a Stamped & Canceled Program as pictured below absolutely FREE! After the first 10, random purchases will receive a program!
