This sale is for a 2009 WAINMAN "GAMBLER" DIRECTIONAL KITEBOARDING KITEBOARD. This board is in really good shape with no active dings or major scratches. It has been proffesionally repaired where it cracked across the upper third of the deck. Probobly from slamming down on the water after going over a wave. The repair is perfect as far as texture and symetry goes, but the guy who was to do the final topcoat of tinted product must have lost his mind because there is a large amount of overspray on the logo. You can't feel where the repair was made, but you can see it. (photo's). the repair is strong and does not affect the function of the board. It DOES affect the price though.... way below what it really is worth. Other than that the board is in great condition!! THE KITEBOARDER REPORT: Out of the Box: Like all Wainman Hawaii boards, the Gambler comes with everything you need to get it ready for the water, including a screwdriver to put it all together. The Gambler features a very wide outline (20” wide for the 5’10”, 19.5” for the 5’7”), double to single concave bottom with molded channels, and a single bump swallow tail. For a wide 5’10”, it’s a lightweight board. The tail has five Future fin boxes which allow you to ride this board as either a thruster or a quad. All Wainman boards come with a board bag to help keep your board in top shape. On the Water: Even though it’s a really wide board, the Gambler rides very smooth through the chop. It also rides like a larger board. We tried both the thruster and quad setups and our testers were unanimous in liking the quad set up better as it seems to get upwind better and tail slides felt more controllable with four fins when compared to three. In the waves, The Gambler holds speed really well and has a really tight turning radius. This board does surf similar to a fish-style board and we found that a wide stance and more upright posture get the most performance out of this board. Please note that this sale is restricted to the continental United States as shipping overseas, Puerto Rico and Canada would be cost prohibitive. If, however, the buyer is serious about the sale, we may work something out. Used/Consignment Board Sales Policy: 1. All boards are inspected for any damage. 2. Scratches are not repaired, but will be identified and described. Larger holes sent out for minor fill repair. Major damage repair is left up to the previous owner prior to sale. 3. JKB will warranty ALL of OUR repairs that were made prior to sale, if any. 4. JKB does not warranty ANY used or consignment boars. All equipment is sold as is. KITEBOARDING "USED/CONSIGNMENT" KITE SALES POLICY: 1. All kites that are put up for bid are pumped up and inspected for damages to the kite itself and leaks in the bladder systems, then photographed and placed on E-bay the same day. 2.Pinholes in the canopy are not repaired, but identified and described. Larger holes are taped in and out with repair tape. Major damage repair is left up to the previous owner prior to sale. 3. Obvious leaks or valve failures are repaired and tested prior to being placed up for bid. We DO NOT chase down very slow leaks. It is easier and faster to use it until the leak becomes obvious and identifiable. 4. Jupiter kiteboarding will warranty ALL of OUR repairs that were made prior to sale, if any. 5. Jupiter Kiteboarding does not warranty ANY original valves, or previous repairs, (other than ours) to kites sold as "USED/CONSIGNMENT".
