The base is about 80ft in diameter and from ground to top the mound is about 12ft high. The hill is believed to have been a meeting place for the Celtic midsummer assembly. Hence the Celtic cross representing the sun god, Lugh. 50P - Milner's Tower - Built in 1871 by public subscription on Bradda Head (Isle of Man) as a memorial to the benefactor of Port Erin who did much to help the village fishermen and the poor. William Milner was a famous safemaker from Liverpool and the unusual shape of the Tower represents a key. 20p - Castle Rushen Clock - (This clock presented by Queen Elizabeth I in 1597, while she held the island in trust pending a dispute, can be found in the clock room at Castle Rushen, formally used as the castle chapel .
