Country Mongolia Year 2011 Face value 500 Togrog Metal Silver .999 Weight 1 oz Size 38.61 mm Quality Antique finish Came in plastic box. THIS BEAUTIFUL MONGOLIA URAL OWL SILVER COIN IS THE SECOND IN SERIES AFTER THE "COIN OF THE YEAR" GULO GULO WOLVERINE AND BEFORE HEDGEHOG! The Ural Owl is represented by means of a sensational relief. Its eyes adorn two dark SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. It is a worthy successor of the Gulo-Gulo, the coin of the year 2008 from Mongolia. It is issued by the National Bank of Mongolia promoting wildlife protection. The coin obverse portrays a splendid Ural Owl depicted with SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS crystals for eyes, on top left edge there is the legend "Endangered Wildlife" and on bottom the year of issue 2011. The incredibly detailed design and the circular shape of owl's facial disk creates a very harmonious effect with the shape of the coin. Issued by National Bank of Mongolia, on coin reverse the State Coat of Arms and the coin value, "500 Togrog". The pictures are blurry because my camera is not good, the coin looks very good in real life and is in good condition. Shipping wed tracking.
