Up for sale is a very hard to find 2013 1 oz. Mexican Libertad Proof coin . Only 9,100 coins minted. This is a very beautiful coin and each coin fits snugly into its own original capsule from the Casa de Moneda de Mexico Mint and the capsule has never been opened . The obverse bears a depiction of the Independence Angel gracefully reaching toward the heavens on a volcanic landscape. The two volcanoes pictured are Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, named after the legend of the doomed lovers. The Libertad is Mexico's treasured coin and is minted at Casa de Moneda de Mexico, the oldest Mint in North America, established in 1535.
